Online Depression Therapy in North Carolina & South Carolina
When depression settles in, even the things you used to love can feel heavy. You may be getting through the day while quietly running on empty, wondering when you started feeling this flat. You are not lazy, and you are not failing. As a licensed therapist serving adults in North Carolina and South Carolina, I offer a warm, unhurried space to understand what you are carrying and to begin feeling more like yourself again—with faith included only if you want it.

What Depression Can Feel Like
Depression looks different from person to person. If some of these feel familiar, you are not alone.
Waking up tired no matter how long you slept
Losing interest in people, work, or hobbies that once mattered to you
Feeling numb, flat, or disconnected rather than sad
Being unusually hard on yourself, or feeling like a burden to others
Struggling to concentrate, decide, or finish what you start
Withdrawing from the people who care about you
Carrying a quiet hopelessness you have not said out loud to anyone
How Therapy Can Help

Therapy for depression is not about being told to think positively. Together we look honestly at what is draining you, and we build small, workable steps that fit the energy you actually have right now.
My work draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused approaches. That means we examine the thought patterns that keep you stuck, practice ways of responding to painful feelings without being ruled by them, and identify small changes that may help you feel more supported and engaged in daily life.
Depression often travels with anxiety, chronic stress and burnout, or a difficult life transition, and if grief is part of your story, we can address that too. Progress is not always a straight line, and I will not rush you.
Faith Integration Is Always Your Choice
Some clients want Scripture, prayer, or prayerful reflection woven into our work, and I am glad to offer that. Others prefer therapy without any faith-based elements, and they are just as welcome and receive the same thoughtful clinical care. You decide, and you can change your mind at any point.
